Running with the Bulls

Please join the Student Council from Mountain View High School for their 12th annual Running With the Bulls 5K!

This event is open to the community and will feature a 5K distance and a Tiny Toro Kid's Dash on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Mountain View High School.


All proceeds from this event will benefit non-profit charity programs, athletics and academics at Mountain View High School.

All members of the community are welcome to this event. No affiliation to the school is necessary.

So please join us in what will be a fun-filled Saturday morning

Participants Receive:

  • Custom Event Medal for ALL finishers
  • Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-shirt
  • Age Group Awards in the 5K for Top Three in all Age Groups (excluding Virtual Runners) for the following:

    • 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 - 79, and 80 & Over

  • Pre- & Post-Race "Athlete's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, etc)
  • Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos provided by StartLine Racing on their Website

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at7:30am at the Mountain View High School Track

    • We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day price is $45 for the 5K and $20 for the Tiny Toro Dash (half mile).

  • All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.  

Event Schedule

  • Jan 16th 3:00PM - Packet Pickup available at the Mountain View H.S. Bookstore from 3:00 - 6:00pm

  • Jan 16th 7:30AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens at the Mountain View H.S. Track

  • Jan 16th 8:30AM - Tiny Toro 1/2 Mile Begins

  • Jan 16th 9:00AM - 5K Begins

  • Jan 16th 10:00AM - 5K Age Group Award Ceremony Begins (approx).
